Artist's Description

As a resident of Nashvile, TN, I created this fun t-shirt design for Nashville fans after the Stanley Cup finals. I'm paying homage to a great Nashville tradition of tossing a local catfish on to the ice at Bridgestone Arena. Fans and local media in Pittsburgh whined when a Predators fan and his well-hidden catfish found its way onto the ice at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh during Game 1.

Although the fan was arrested and was charged with disorderly conduct, disrupting a meeting and possessing "instruments of a crime" all charges were later dropped.Pittsburgh may have declared catfish as “instruments of crime,” but the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation wasn’t buying it.

“We’ve seen a lot of ‘instruments of crime’ over the years. Can’t honestly say we’ve seen a case with one of these [catfish],” tweeted the TBI.

ARTIST’S STATEMENT: My life-long love affair with sports and music and been the subject of most of my personal creative work. I have worked in Photoshop ever since as it continues to be my favorite digital tool. As my art and photography progressed, I was looking for unique ways to create a fine art style, in Photoshop based on my own original photography. Over...
